We know the news is overrun with tragedy. For example, some headlines right now on NYTimes.com:

Generally, not the most uplifting stories.

So my friend just pointed me to a site with a humorous concept, http://www.greatnewsnetwork.org. Their description:

"The great news network, a positive news site where everyone can contribute."

Basically, it's a website with only good news. Some of their headlines:
