Bring it
It's the same as if someone would come on these boards and say....
"What's all the fuss about football? All they do is slam into each other..."
Without knowing the intricacies of the game, they form pre-conceived notions about how it works...And they usually are wrong...
See, I'm a NASCAR fan and just used words like intricacies, and pre-conceived, and notions, and the...lol Not all of us are uneducated hilljacks...Though I often act like one

Not all football fans are uneducated hilljacks, either - but I still rip on some of them, too.
As long as you realize it's not personal, that it's just an inter-sport rivalry, then it's all good.

As I've said before, I'm not a NASCAR fan, but that's not to say I don't respect those who participate. I love cars (see my avatar) and I really tried to get into NASCAR, but I just couldn't get enthused about it. I have a close friend who plays fantasy NASCAR. I have no idea how that works and I tried to get into it a couple years ago, but I found myself getting very bored. I have a neighbor who used to work in the Roush pit crew and he talks about it nonstop. I'm polite, so I nod at the appropriate moments, but my mind drifts off to "who should I take with the #1 pick in my draft?".

Its much better than some of the other crap they show on TV. Like just about any sitcom, bowling, reruns of movies I have seen a thousand times. And all of those stupid reality shows.
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.
