Well, here in the Twin Cities in "pop" and I think that's the same in the rest of MN (Not like the rest matters!! ). But DP is way overrated! It's goood for awhile but after sometime it gets old and gross.

Dr. Pepper is easily the best pop IMO
man, so few people call it "pop" these days. i called it that in pittsburgh, but now people think im an idiot when i call it "pop."
it's soda jerks! i'm so funny
[b]Growing up in Omaha, it was pop.['b] In Phoenix its soda.
Youre not funny, moon.
Growing up in Fremont, about 25 miles from O-Town, we called it "soda." That's weird.
It's pretty much soda anywhere you go in greater metropolitan Omaha/Lincoln Nebraska these days.
My wife grew up in Lincoln, I grew up on a farm outside of Omaha and currently live in Omaha. Everyone from around here calls it 'pop'. I got into the habit of calling it soda since it's a little more universally known as such and since I work with a wide range of characters, I didn't want to call it 'pop'.

DP overrated? Psh...
DP is the main drink around Buffalo...it's weird...
That reminds me of a funny story...I was walking around school with a friend awhile ago (we were supposed to be interviewing people for the newspaper) and we found an empty classroom with a DP on one of the desks (we think we know whose desk it was)...so we took it and left a note in bad handwriting that said: "We have kidnapped your DP. If you want it back leave $50 in the hollow tree in Myrahn Park (a park by my house). If this is not fulfilled by Friday your DP will be consumed.
We havent heard about the incident from the kid since.
