Hmmm lets see... Han Solo, the smuggler falls in love with a princess, gives up because he thinks she's in love with her brother. He starts being mean, then blows up the death star to win her back.

sorry moon, I couldn't resist.

yeah if that was the central theme then you might have some ground to stand on. but that's a fringe storyline within the grander concept.

Slap a mohawk and some chains on Michael Clarke Duncan.

Yeah, he's the guy we ended up sort of agreeing on, but it wouldn't be the same. Not even close. Mr. T, if I remember right, was pretty short and I believe Duncan's really tall isn't he?

That's a good point. T was a fairly small person and Duncan is a tower of a man. I guess the only person to play Mr. T is the man himself!

Yep. That's pretty much the conclusion we came to. We thought that Ice Cube might be pretty good at it though. He's got that angry face like T had. Voice is all wrong though.

Michael Clarke Duncan is exactly who I thought of as well.

Then again, what about Terry Tate? :-?

Ving Rhames as "B.A. Barracus" sans mohawk. This isn't following it to a "T" it's adaptation.

Also starring:

Bruce Willis as "Hannibal"
Brad Pitt as "Face" (almost too easy)
Jim Carrey as "Murdoch"

I always saw Matt Frewer as Mad Dog in a big screen adaptation, but I think he may be too old for the part now.

Funny you should mention Frewer. I always got Frewer and Dwight Schultz mixed up when I was younger.
