I'm with you on Friday and Alien. An American Werewolf, Evil Dead, Seven, Jaws and Silence should not be on the list. The first two are too campy, and you guys pretty well covered Seven, Jaws and Silence. Another couple of films that should be on there are Tod Browning's "Freaks", and Amityville Horror. Heck, even old Godzilla movies were scarier than Seven. So classics like Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy and the Werewolf shouldn't be discounted. They paved the way for these other films. As long as you don't watch the Abbott & Costello versions!
