**Battle of the Bands Official Thread**

Not that I don't appreciate the work you guys put into the seeding, but I'm curious as to learn how you decided to place Thompson Twins on a list that doesn't include a band that sold two RIAA certified Diamond (10 million+) selling albums like Def Leppard.

Because I— I mean, one of the judges was in the audience at the Devany Center in Lincoln, NE in 1988 when Joe Elliott got ALL concerts banned there because he was such an EDIT that they said “never again!”

But that’s just a theory.

I thought the judges were being objective and not taking personal preferences into consideration.

I can think of 100 bands that belong on the list over the Thompson Twins.

I gave Def Leppard a pretty good vote, let's just say the other 2 judges weren't so kind.

I was shocked to see the Thompson Twins make the list. I gave them a fairly average score thinking the other 2 would slaughter them with low ones. They did not and thus they are in. I'm glad, it's giving the thread life.
