Because I didn't participate in that process, I have no right to complain.

No, not crappy. They were good, and maybe even great. I think they were great. Do they belong on a list of 64 greatest ever? No.

Yes, last year started out as a 80s band battle, a 70s battle, etc. then expanded a little but not much.
