Everyone I know is rooting for a nice slow start from Rex so we can get a decent QB at the helm for once.

I watched Rivers a lot in college and I think he could adjust quickly. Probably best case is a year like Eli had last year with a few week-winning games, and a couple where he just stinks. Doesn't hurt that he plays KC & Oakland twice. Solid as a backup in fantasy, but I wouldn't want to rely on him.

Philip Rivers is worth a shot in dynasty leagues. I wouldn't touch him in redraft leagues, unless they were real deep. I think this year will be a learning experience for him and he will certainly encounter his fair share of setbacks.

Rex Grossman is a guy I wouldn't mind taking a flier on. It would be nice if he could stay healthy for a full season.

I wouldn't be so sure that Griese is going to beat Rex out. The Bears passing offense while not complicated by any means was designed by Turner to play to Rex's strengths which are deep slants and mid range outs.....which happen to be a weakness for Griese. While the bears could adjust this offense for Griese.....i am not sure they have the mental capacity to do this.
