Have the Dolphins gone completely insane? Vick signs deal

What is wrong with this? This is a spectaclar move for Miami.

They spend 230K on the brother of a 1st overall selection ... who Marcus is BETTER than (I said it). Marcus may not have Mike's rocket, but he actually can throw an accurate ball from time to time.

If he doesn't work, what do the Dolphins lose? Absolutely nothing. Teams pay this kind of money for a dozen plus guys every year, most of whom don't end up making the roster cut. And usually, these guys don't have Marcus' potential.

Good move by MIA.

I completely agree. Wouldn't have been opposed to the Cowboys giving him a chance. Little risk/HUGE REWARD type move.
So they weren't the best...and may have ended the worst. SO WHAT!

I agree with every word said in that post no1.....This is a great low risk/high reward move by the Dolphins.....

I also agree that Marcus is far better than Mike was coming out of college.....He is a more polished QB although he hasn't figured it out upstairs yet....

Vick could return kicks for Miami right away. He doesn't have to throw the ball at all to be worth the 200 grand.

Based on... ? :-?

Talk about stats all you want ... but just from watching both of them play at VT, I can say Marcus impressed me a lot more than Michael.

That's almost like saying Latoya is better than Janet.

Coming out of college, comparing the two, Marcus impressed me more with his QB skills than Mike did....I'm not comparing Mike now vs. Marcus now.....

Mike had more highlight reel runs, but I think Marcus showed more polished QB skills than his brother in their times at VT.....

Mike's ceiling was higher coming out though....I won't dispute that....

I don't think it is a bad move at all. He is very talented, and for the price a great value. There is a chance he develops into a good player, so why not...
