So I just found out about this guy called John Butler. The dude's amazing.

Yeah, right after I saw this I went and grabbed a few of his albums. He and his band make great music.

Yeah, you gotta respect a guy who busts out a 12 string! ;-D

When he first started playing, I was like dude cut your nails! But then I saw that he uses them like picks. :-b

Here's a link to a dude that blows me away. Its kind of old, but everytime I see it, my jaw drops. The song doesn't seem to have a flow to it when he goes off on one of his finger warps, but the things he does to that guitar! 8-o

Man, that's sick.. it's kinda like a slap bass style for the guitar.

Yeah, a guy I know from school can do that sweeping thing. It's insane.

I wouldn't say John Butler is my favorite guitarist (Jimi Hendrix takes that, as I don't think anybody could top his set at the Filmore East), but he's definitely up there.
