Favorite Poker Player?

With poker being so popular, I thought it would be a good idea to hear what people thought of their favorite players.


I voted for Daniel Negreanu. The guy is hilarious and always entertaining. He is one of the top pros that I would want to play with just because he has such a great sense of humor and personality. Not to mention, he is an amazing poker player. I have learned many moves and strategies via Daniel's articles and play.

Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth and Dan Harrington were all close seconds for me. Matusow and Hellmuth because their crazy antics and egos are so freaking amusing. And Action Dan, because he seems so soft yet is one of the most dangerous players out there. His books on Hold em are legendary and can turn any novice fish into a shark.

The one guy I wouldn't want to play against would have to be Phil Ivey. Not because I don't like him, because he is too good. The guy makes unbelievable reads and isn't afraid to put all his chips in if he senses weakness from an opponent.
