I said originally that it would be default yahoo style scoring. I forgot exactly what that is, but somthing along the lines of:
1 point for 20 passing yards, 1 point for 10 rushing yards, 1 point for 10 receiving yards, 6 points for a rushing or receiving touchdown, 4 points for a passing touchdown, -2 point for every interception thrown, -2 points for every lost fumble, 1 point for an extra point kicked, 3 points for a field goal 0-39 yards, 4 points for 40-49, 5 points for 50+, and for defense: 1 pt/ sack, 2 pts/ interception, 2 pts/ fumble recovery, 4 pts/ defensive TD, 3 pts/ blocked kick, 3 pts/ safety, 0 pts allowed: 10 points, 2-6 pts allowed: 7 points, 7-13 pts allowed: 4 points, 14-20 pts allowed: 1 point, 21-27 pts allowed: 0 points, 28-34 pts allowed: -2 point, 35+ points allowed: -5 points
Please tell me what you think about this scoring. It is up for debate.
The top 6 teams will make the playoffs, with the 2 best teams getting a first round bye. The Playoffs will start in week 14, with the league championship played in week 16.
Should we have a trade deadline? If so, is November 5th (week 9) a good date for it?
