Ok, about 2 years ago we moved into a brand spanking new home! 1st owners and everything! This place was spotless.

When we moved in, we had a talk to our daughter (who was about 3 at the time) about being careful on the carpet and she wouldn't be allowed to drink her juice in the living room like she was in our Apartment. She'd have to sit at the dining room table to drink.

Not a month went by, I dropped a full plate of speghetti on the carpet. Not a month after that I dropped a full bowl of chilli on the carpet in the almost the exact same spot.

To this day those two "oops" are the only major spills on the carpet. I think my wife was about ready to forbid me from sitting out ther to eat.

Now the walls...well that's a different story. I can't even count the number of times my little artist has gotten in trouble for drawing on the walls.
