I would agree that there are reasons that some would be considered bad parents. (driving with baby in lap). But tripping while carrying the baby isn't one of them.

Its not just the tripping its the host of other things that she has done. Also if your carry a kid in one hand and a drink in the other through a group of people isnt the greatest idea in the world.

I just said the this ONE particular instance seems to have been overblown. I gather you've never had a misstep with your children. But the majority of parents get distracted, accidentally trip while carrying their child and the like. I do not think that would indicated a bad parent.

But parents do this ALL THE TIME. I have carried my daughter in one arm and something in the other. More times than I can count I've had my daughter in one arm and coffee in the other hand. It's not a big deal.
One time I was carrying my daughter to the car and I had something else in my other hand (I forget what, but it wasn't a beverage) and I tripped on the stairs to my garage and we went down. I fell three steps and landed on my left knee REALLY REALLY hard, ripping a huge hole in my pants in the process. At no time in that instant of falling did I consider dropping whatever it was in my other hand to land - I just went down on my leg and absorbed it.
MSB, you have kids, right? You know how this sort of thing happens, I'm sure. You trip carrying your child and you just go down.
It happens all the time. The only difference between me and Britney is that there weren't 40 cameras around me snapping pictures when I crashed.

First my point was not this specific incident, it was all of the others combined with this one.
Sure people fall with their kids, but i dont go out into a group of people with a glass of vodka in one hand and my kid bouncing around in the other hand. Honestly though i have never fallen with my kids in my arms. Also why is it that thousands of other celebs have kids and they seem to have no problem with it?
