I've been forgetting to update this since November. The judge in this case, Kristine Cecava, was voted out of her bench in November, the next election in which her seat was decided.
It's good to see that people don't forget this stuff, and vote accordingly when they have their chance.

So the question I have is what ended up happening with this sex offender? I'm fully for penalizing the guy the way the law was written--that judge should have been thrown off the bench in a big way. But did the guy redeem his life, or did he go back to his ways? I'm just wondering if, however stupid the judgment was, the end result didn't endanger anyone and he's possibly become a productive citizen now.
Again, he's not deserving of a second chance, but it would be nice to hear that he made the most of it.
