I can get to .08 in about 15 minutes. These guys don't understand that BAC differs greatly between different people, and it is simply crazy to put a cap on it for everyone. Besides, it's only a DUI at worst, and that won't hurt Droughns in the least on the field.

The link is actually a different incident than the DUI - it's an assault charge that evidently happened on May 12. The Lung linked to the new charge at the end of the older DUI article. Quoting the recent article:

"Conviction on the assault charge, a class 1 misdemeanor, would carry a penalty of six to 18 months in jail, Walsh said. Conviction on the harassment charge, a class 3 felony, would carry a penalty of up to six months in jail."

Could be that it won't turn into anything, but that's how it stands right now.

I think he will be fine. Don't worry about jail time for him. There is no way he is going to go to jail. Just probably fines I am assuming correctly.

I heard they set the bail at $2500...he'll be able to pay that I assume..

Yeah, no way he goes to jail for this...community service and some probation sounds about right.

Reuben Droughns was released on bail Thursday.

He will face a third-degree domestic abuse charge. The Browns won't comment at this time, and will wait for the legal process to run its course. That should take a while
