you'd need some "Big Balls" to vote Steve Miller on this one...although i would have prefered a Bon Scott pic.

i like both Bands, but AC/DC more

I like the Steve Miller Band, but they can't stand next to AC/DC.

Sure people say all of AC/DC's songs sound the same, and its true....but that 1 sound is fricken sweet, so of coarse all the songs are sweet...

AC/DC:
Back in Black
Big Gun
Dirty Deed Done Cheap
Gone Shootin'
Hells Bells
Highway to Hell
Money Talks
Shook me All Night Long
Shoot for Thrill
Stiff Upper Lip
ThunderStruck
TNT

I think you know who i chose, if you havent heard any of those songs, please check yourself and go download it.....all quality hits right there.

I think this is one of the better matchups so far. While AC/DC is easily more famous and had more success, SMB has made a lasting impression as well. Neither of these bands are giants like the Stones, Beatles, and such, but each has the potential to win again should they advance another round.

All that said, AC/DC just has a closer place in my heart. They never sold out to making the ballads and stuck to their rock jams which are just fantastic. They survived the loss of a great lead singer, and an entire continent's single best contribution to music.

Good list, but you've got to include Whole Lotta Rosie. ;-D
