I need advice...

Can I have some tips on how to keep my image size down? I never seem to be able to fit my images in a sig. Here's my lastest... the difference between the two is quite disappointing.

Try not to use such a variety of colors. I know it's mostly yellow, red, and orange, but the more colors you use the bigger the outcome will be. And for some strange reason, the color red makes the most impact on size.

he is right...red gives me a lot probs too, usually looks pretty grainy.... but using colors that contrast each other a lot seem to have the biggest impact. i try to use as few colors as possible...seems to help.
