I just found out that a local pet store, just outside city limits, in Ralston, NE, is selling an alligator for $150. It's about 2 1/2 feet from nose to tail apparently. Anybody else know of any other places that sell this sort of animal?

wow, there was a pet shop by me that sold Caimans (sp?) which is kind of a mini-croc, but a full blown gator? wow...i'd have to cook and eat it before it got too big

I saw these things at the zoo and decided it would pretty much be the coolest pet ever.

We found a snapping turtle in our neighbor's yard over the weekend - the thing was bigger than a turkey platter. That was dangerous enough for me just moving from the grass to a bin where we could hold it for Animal Control. I don't see the point in having an animal like this.

Monkeys freak me out. Everytime i see one i think of the movie Monkey Shines.

It's not legal in Omaha. I believe there is a 6' law or something, but this is Bellevue.
We've caught snapping turtles out on my dad's farm (creek out there) near Springfield. Barely fit in a wheelbarrow.

My buddy's grandmother had a spider monkey as a pet...

And well.... Uhhhh....

The little thing would get sexually frustrated, take care of business with his hand, and throw the resulting mess at anybody who got within range...
