Help me find some new music....

Postby Dirt Bag » Mon Jun 05, 2006 4:46 pm

I need some new tunes on my iRiver...help me out 'Cafe!

I like almost every genre of music, the two that i absolutely despise are country and rap. I would like to get into the genre's of Blues and Techno, though.

Bands that i love are: Tom Petty, The Cars, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Flogging Molly and other irish rock style artists...and alot more but those are the tops that i can think of right now

I get all of my music in albums not downloading song at a time...so when you reccomend an artist please include a few albums that you think are the best

If you like Zeppelin, you will love Wolfmother. They only have one album out so far, but it rocks.

Yo Dirt Bag....

Shoutcast.com is a great listening website to discover new bands. I mainly listen to the metal channels, they play bands that you will never hear on FM radio.

If you want to try out a different style of music then I suggest...

Opeth (Swedish melodic-death-epic-progressive-soft-metal) :-)

Their best CDs to start off are...

1. Blackwater Park
2. Still Life
