Read any good books lately?

Postby WickedSmaat » Wed Jun 07, 2006 11:46 am

I'm looking to get a new book to read during the days while my wife is at work. Any good suggestions?

I read A Prayer For Owen Meany in school last month. And I thoguht it was excellent! The movie, SImon Birch, is not even close to being as good. ;-D

But I am about to start reading Fast Food Nation. When I'm down I'll let y'all know if it's good. I have to read four books for school this summer.... !+) :-P
Keep it lit.

nickel and dimed by barbara ehrenreich is an amazing book. it's short, fast, and easy to read. it will really open your eyes as to how hard life can be for people with no education and a crappy job.

Anything interesting. I'd like a book that can hook me and I won't be able to put it down until I finish reading it. I like non-fiction usually but I like a good fiction story too.
