I like both bands quite a bit and each were influential in their genre of music. How they got matched against each other is a mystery but went with Metallica.

Just curious, but why overrated? If it's their current blend of music you're referring to, then yes, I agree. However, their first five albums are some of the most amazing metal recordings of the past twenty-odd years. In fact, I dare you to find anyone in the inner circle of the metal community that doesn't think "And Justice For All" is one of the most amazing records in the genre.
