Easily, the best female led rock band ever, at least in my book.

Comparing those three bands to Heart is insane. Heart are pioneers, who's accomplishments predate any of those bands by at least 20-25 years.

I could go into why Tom Petty is better, but figured I'd go with someone not everyone might know. Stacked up against Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Rollin Stones, Live, Coldplay, and even Elton John, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are the best live performers I have ever seen. He just gets that connection and interaction with the crowd going so well, that its one of the few acts more than worth the money you shell out to see in person.
