No, those are just subjects. I believe Manja is correct.
I don't want to sound like a grammar teacher, but a pronoun can be the subject of the sentence, as can a noun/proper noun. el, los, la and las all mean "the" and the is an article just like a/an.

Yeah those. They gave me a paragraph and i had to fill in the blanks with words from a wordbank and i never had to put the pronouns in on a test before. Then again, it was in the directions
The class is called Spanish 2, meant for sophmores but im a juinor.
