I'm not a big soup eater, so I usually opt for the salad most of the time.

Completely depends on where we are at. Certain places have great soup, others have great salads.

For my soup, I like the clam chowder, or bisques..Or when we go out for steak, I like a baked potato soup.

i disagree. caesar dressing is not supposed to be creamy. but, until i had a real, homemade caesar dressing i would have agreed with you.

Creamy is better because it doesn't all just settle at the bottom of the bowl. I also love Italian, but that's what I hate about it.

I usually go with a salad just because I want to make sure I get enough veggies. But in all honesty, I will quite often not even eat much of the salad, especially if I know that my meal is coming with some vegetables. Another added bonus is that the salad comes free with entrees a lot of the time, so I don't feel bad if I decide I don't want it after it is served.
