Who is the Bears #3 QB behind Griese and Orton?

There is alot of talk about the QB duel for the starting job next year between the veteran Griese, and the young upstar Orton. Who will be the Bears #3 as you need a #3 QB just in case as we saw with the Jets last year?

I think Lovie already announced that the debth chart would look roughly like:

1: Grossman
2: Griese
3: Orton

As far as I know, I heard that the Bears signed Brian Griese in order to back up Rex Grossman. Lovie Smith must have a bit of confidence in him, though I would say it's not a bad choice. If he doersn't come through, you have a veteran backup in Brian Griese.

Rex Grossman is the starting QB until the day he dies. They refuse to see the light and cut bait on this guy, and love him to death. It's not his fault he gets hurt, but the fact of the matter is he gets hurt. They passed a chance on trading for Brees the year before he got good, and we got stiffed with Mr. HMO instead. We could be sitting with a pro-bowl QB right now, but no. So please don't think they are going to start Griese over Rex, barring injury...snicker... :-b

I really want the Bears to do well this year, maybe even win the Super Bowl. Rex Grossman is the equivalent of Jesse Palmer in ability and accomplishments in the NFL, he has never had a season as starting QB even without then formidable guys over him, and is injury prone. Yes this year with an improved QB situation he is the starter, that is BOGUS! I hope he does not ruin the season for the Bears, the %^&%^%^!

Every system that Griese has come into he has entered as the backup, and he has always wound up the starter my early-mid season. I think it will be the same situation with the Bears, Rex has potential, but in my eyes he's still practically a rookie when it comes down to the playing time that he's seen. We'll see Rex start, but we'll see Brian take over as soon as Rex falls.
