I'm pretty blind. Had glasses from 4th grade till high school, then got contacts. Havent had too many problems with em. Might consider laser eye surgery in the future... but surgery aint really my thing. :-o

Had contacts since about 8th grade. Made my mom get them for me because I was a catcher for baseball and you can't rip the mask off with glasses on 8-o

I think I may get lasik later on in life but I don't mind my glasses either.

I had to get glasses at 17 or else I wouldn't have been able to drive a car! :-B

After wearing them for a year or two I made the switch to contact lenses. It took me a while to get used to the contacts but I definitely prefer them over glasses. I had a couple bad incidents when I went too many days without changing the lenses. I had two small cornea scars....those things are not pleasant. !+) Felt like Mike Tyson landed a haymaker right to my eye!! !+)

But all in all contacts are for me! I have never been able to get used to that "weird" feeling of glasses. B-)

Wear contacts all the time. Much better then glasses IMO. This way my peripheral vision isn't blurry.

How old are you? Doctors suggest getting it done in your mid-20s.

Contacts most of the time, glasses to give my eyes a break. One of these days going to get lasik done and trow away those glasses and contacts.
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.

I don't need glasses unless I'm sitting really far away from the object I have to read....So I usually sit up front in class...

But I do wear them on occasion for no particular reason....Makes me look s-m-e-r-t ;-D
