I could live with them not making any good music for the last 15 years or so if they would have the good graces to do so quietly in some corner of the world where I never have to listen to them, but the lack of good tunes since the Joshua Tree album combined with the fact that their sh*tty music has complete taken over the airwaves of just about every single freakin radio station in the past 5 years has vaulted them to the top of my "would run over with a bus if possible" list....

Quite honestly these guys are a LARGE part of the reason I got a car stereo that plays MP3 CDs and I started downloading music. Before the "atomic bomb" album I was content to listen to the radio for ~75+% of my time in the car despite the fact that Montreal has a serious lack of quality english radio stations but once that piece of overplayed garbage hit the airwaves I was forced to retreat into CD land...
