Jets Rookie Outperforming Veteran QBs.

Well that sounds very promising. I don't agree that he should be outperforming these guys already, he was hurt last year and is a rookie. There is no way he will be starting right away, but I would love it if he gets a chance this year to prove that he is the QB of the future for the Jets, and that we don't have to go into the next offseason worrying about that position, thus allowing us to concentrate on finishing off that OLine and grabbing our RB of the future in the draft (Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch will be a Jet next year ;-) ).

Ramsey? The same Ramsey who lost his job to a 60 yr old?

I saw a few Oregon games and Clemens impressed me. He seems to be the "gun-slinger" type. Great arm and he's not afraid to stick the ball inbetween two defenders. I think in time, he could be the Jet's QB for the future.

He should get his chance to play this year...after Penny gets hurt and Ramsey gets benched. :-b

Don't blame the short-sightedness of Joe Gibbs or the general incompetence of Dan Snyder for Ramsey getting benched.

I dont. I blame Ramsey's inability to complete a pass. :-b

In that case, blame Rod Gardner. :-b

I guess Clemens might be the reason why the Jet's passed up Leinhart. They had to know that Pennington/Ramsey were not a longterm solution.

I wonder how many teams will regret not having taken Leinart (there is no hart in Leinart :-b ).

As for Ramsey being the next pharoh in NY, remember context. It's Penny and Clemens. Thinking Ramsey is the better of those two in their current states isn't exactly a bold statement.
