Yes, it was.

I guess the Steelers were due for a first round bust.

The worse thing is that they traded out another first-day draft choice in order to get in a position to acquire Holmes.

I don't think they did. I believe it was a 1st and a second rounder to move up in the first. * Sorry I misread what you wrote. Which was another "first-day" draft choice. ;-D

Jesus ...

That's OSU for ya ... :-B

Well, I'm sure he'll get off easy. I'm waiting for his hat trick, however.

I never understood what was so great about this guy that the Steelers were applauded for trading up to get him when Chad Jackson would've fallen to them. Or why everyone insisted the Eagles simply had to take him 1st round for most of the offseason. Maybe I'm not giving his talent its due, but how did it not come out the serious character concerns some coaches must've had. This kind of repetitive behavior doesn't seem like its a new pattern.

I dont know if you can call Burress a bust. He is not a Steeler anymore but he is still very productive in the NFL ad is a nice weapon for Eli. I was hopng they keep Burress as he seemed to have somehting clicking with Ben early on. A few years of those two together may have been interesting.

Edwards Hell yes. If anyone remembersw that draft year, everyone had Pitt slotted as taking some guy named Tory Holt but the Rams snagged him just prior to Pitts pick. Then the Steelers REACHED for Edwards out of need.... Oh what could have been...... :~(

Shaping up to be a nice rivalry between Henry and Holmes...

3-2 right now (remember that Henry's sexual harrassment charge was false and dropped)

Should fit right in with the other felons. I've heard 10% of the roster already hawked their rings to buy yayo.

Ok, I'm old and naive. Did you mean mayo? What is yayo?
