Gratz Knapp, your definitely an integral part of the cafe, and i can't imagine what the GT forum would be without you, in fact it would probably be a dark and scary place :-o

It has been The Dude's pleasure to continue to punch holes in your political/social (and otherwise) arguments over the last year.

And remember, just because a majority of cafe-ites say its so (i.e. that your r0x0rz their s0x0rz, to use the parlance of our times), doesn't make it right or just - just democratic.

But in all seriousness, knapp is one of the cafe's best - part of the class of new vets here at the FFC. Keep up the great work.

Speech? What would I say…?

To everyone who responded to this with well-wishes – the feelings are mutual. I “know” some of you better than others but to a man I have respect and admiration for all of you, and I look forward to reading your posts as well (some of you – I wish you would write more. People worry about being too verbose, but if you have something worthwhile to say it’s all good!).

Mercer, GoF came from you (at least, you started it here), but I never said “thanks” for letting me take over. I had heard about it from Loveline for the last few years, but until you posted it I never thought about doing one here. I really enjoy the “contests” and I get a kick out of the thought processes some of the guys go through. So, officially, "thanks!" ;-D

Also, Mercer, have I really had 3,000+ posts in GT alone? That’s amazing!!!! I think the main reason for that is that I really started posting here in volume at the end of the 2005 season, and there hasn’t been as many or as compelling of discussions in the football forums. I don’t doubt for a second that it’s true, but it does make me realize that I should spend more time in other forums.

That’s it for now. I wanted to keep this short. I’ll go into more detail in my HoF speech (if I ever make it to 5,000 posts, that is ;-)
