I dont know about that...you dont think anyone would of ever thought to create a football game if Tecmo Bowl wasnt created? But yes much respect and props to it none the less

The original Tecmo Bowl for Nintendo was one of the greatest games ever. Bo Jackson in that game was the greatest video game athlete ever. I didn't get into the Super Tecmo Bowl game much until college, when a few buddies of mine would play it. For some reason I preferred the first.

it is a ROM of the original
although the leagues feature updated rosters, all time rosters, original rosters, made up rosters.

Bo was great, but the best IMO in the game was Walter Peyton..

Yeah, Payton was definitely a good one in that game as well. I loved running back to the goal line with him then doing the 100 yard sprint for the TD. Never got old.

ohhh what No Love for Christian Okoye (sp). If he was rated 'excellent' you could run straight into anyone on the field and send them flying across the screen it was great.

But yeah, Bo was by far the best video game player ever.
