Gimp troubleshooting question

how bout this one when i cut somthing out with the "cut shapes from image" tool and i final get it to the end i cant get the cut to finish i dont know how to explane it but my cut is still one line and not the moving little dots how can i finalize the cut?

I'm not understanding the question.

ok when i use the lasso to cut out an image i cut it out al the way around but i cant get the end of my cut to connect to the start of my cut

Make sure your 1st dot is your last dot (when you make your last "click", do it on top of your first dot made), then click inside the image. Sorry, best I can explain... not very savvy when it comes to computers.
