C+C PLEZ

i need some C and C on this i want as much info as you are willing to give me, plez dont suger coat it if you think this sig is the worst ever made tell me but also tell me what i can do to make it better. i made it for my cousin who will be on the cafe in a few hours and as always i want to learn everything i can about every sig i make.

The background is very dull, not eye catching in any way. The name takes up too much of the sig and is just in plain 2 colored font. The way that you have the colors very dull makes the logo look pretty ugly overall. I like the idea, but the shade of orange and blue combined with the huge simple names to one side make it very bland.

I suggest maybe adding another picture on the left and putting the name in the cents, much smaller. Try to brighten it up a little if possible.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, I wouldnt have said everything like that if you hadnt requested it.

With that being said, you chose a good picture of Bailey, and he belnds in well with the background. You may want to choose a pic of him in action if you decide to add one to the left side.

I agree with the background, try a darker background and light text or likewise, the picture's pretty good though.

not to harsh at all i dont care if someone said that it sucked as long as they add some additonal info not already posted by some else currently im on a different computer and on the computer i made it, it was much brighter so that may be my problem. should i add somewhat of an outline on the text?

I think this better than the other one, the only thing that i didn't like was the choice of color for the text.

the sig itself looks good, the next thing you should tackle is making your text stand out.


i know you are new to this so ill keep this talk simple, im not trying to make it seem like you are dumb if you really know what all this stuff is called...


when you have your text layer selected, go to the bottom right corner of the screen where it shows all the little pictures of your layers...

double click on the picture part of your text layer. this will pull up a menu of layer styles.

play around with glows, drop shadows and strokes. you can do some pretty cool stuff using these options, and there is a lot you can do.
