So on Friday the family and I are off to California to go to the Yosemite area for a week. We are staying in a condo on Bass Lake. Should be a good time.
Anyone been to Yosemite and have any recommendations on things to see or do? Ive been to all the internet site but am interested in any first hand info.
I just watched a show on the caldera. You know that Yosemite is actually a massive volcano, right? Magma domes have been rising and falling all over the place out there. The whole thing could blow at any time.

It's the same place. Yosemite is the Indian word for Yellowstone.
