Nick Barnett to become Strong side LB

apparently with the addition of Hodge, and in an effort to get the 3 best LBs on the field, Barnett is likely to move to strong side LB, with hodge in the middle, and Hawke on the weak side.

Correct me if I am wrong, but this just kills his fantasy value, doesnt it?

People talk about this every year and it has never happened. It's a possibility of course, but I don't see it happening.

I've had Hodge #1 on my rookie LB board since the draft expecting this to happen.

Barnett is a talented player, so he should do about as well as any Strong-side can in fantasy football, but I would drop him out of the top 20 LBs easily if this happens

This isnt definate yet, like this thread title suggests. But yes, it would definately hurt his IDP value.

whether it happens or not, it is probably the best situation for the GB defense.

hawke, hodge, and barnett are definatly the 3 best LBs on the team, and Hodge is to inexperienced to even think about moving to the Strong side, and hawke would be wasted there. Barnett is the best option they have at the strong side position

Still a lot of "ifs" going into training camp. They were really impressed with Taylor in the OTA's and they still hold out hope that Poppinga shows promise if he's recovered from knee surgery.

yeah, there defense should actually be very improved this year. They have depth everywhere but the Line to, so injuries shouldnt be to hard to handle on the defensive side of the ball.

It would surpise me if this did not happen. Barnett was an OLB in college and Hodge is a MLB. I expected to see it played with in the OTA's.
