I only needed to see two things to say bleh. Edwards at 40 and he won't even play until week 7, and Brian Griese ahead of Rex Grossman. :-P

How did you base these rankings? Was any decision subjective? Some of the rankings seem pretty far out of whack IMO.

Plummerr and Vick ahead of EManning? You gotta explain that one.

The VBD is only as good as the stat projections for each player. Garbage in, Garbage out.

What are your stat projections?

Provocative post ;-D

Send me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you the Excel file...

I also have an updated file with 6 points per passing TD, if you'd like that one instead....

Re: Braylon Edwards - that was an oversight to not reduce his stats... If he, in fact, misses half the year, obviously he shouldn't be ranked that high...

Re: Brian Griese/Rex Grossman - exactly how many games are you thinking Grossman plays in before a chronic yeast infection benches him for the season?

Here are my projections for the three QB's in question:

J. Plummer - 100 rush yd, 1 rush TD, 3300 pass yd, 24 pass TD, 12 Ints

M. Vick - 800 rush yd, 4 rush TD, 2600 pass yd, 12 pass TD, 15 Ints

E. Manning - 20 rush yd, 1 rush TD, 3500 pass yd, 22 pass TD, 12 Ints

I understand to a degree, but you can never, ever base anything on the prediction of an injury. You just simply cannot draft someone's backup before drafting the starter. Sure, occasionally it might work out, but the majority by a wide margin will tell you that it is not a good idea.

Honestly, I think Griese wins the job outright in camp...

Then again, I may be slightly biased because of my deep seated hatred of Rex Grossman....

When was the last time the preseason number 1 on paper in Denver actually ended up having the most fantasy points at the end of the year?

Portis did it one year...

Before that, I think it was Terrell Davis...

No thank you...
