This is a purely hypothetical question.

How much is LJ (or your favorite RB) actually worth?

Is it worth it to trade an elite QB (eg Brady) and a pretty good but not excellent RB (eg Warrick Dunn) for LJ?

The real life situation that spurred this debate would've given one trader LJ and Portis, but Roethlisberger as his #1 QB and the other trader Bulger and Brady, but Dunn, Ahman Green, and Thomas Jones as his RB.

We've both agreed it isn't happening, but what if it did? Who would have gotten the better deal?

wrong forum, but ill post my opinion.

based on the situation, it probably wasnt in the best interest for either side, but LJ is worth more IMO.

BTW, this is a dynasty league for those who dont know; im in it as well.

I would of much rather been on the LJ side, having Portis and LJ as running backs in a dynasty would be sick

Dunn + Brady is not enough. A 1st Round RB (Edge, Brown, Rudi, etc.) + Brady is too much.

How was it 1 to 2 in favor of Dunn/Brady before I voted? LJ is easily the better side of that deal

L.J. is worth a second round back (Julius Jones, Ronnie Brown, Brian Westbrook, Domanik Davis, Willis McGahee) and Brady. . . .but not a 4th or 5th round RB and Brady.

LJ is a deal...you can find a qb that is almost the same as brady...only 2 other rbs can put up LJ numbers (maybe none)

LJ= another top 5 RB + Brady...even then i'd barely do it unless I was in deep deep s**t at QB.

I totally disagree with both of these statements. I wouldn't trade LJ for any RB outside the top-3 and Brady and it's not even really close.
