Garner injured???

Postby Purple Pride » Thu Oct 10, 2002 11:25 am

What is the status on Charlie Garner?? Is he hurt bad or just banged up?

I am thinking about a trade involving him with the team I am playing this week and need to know if I would be setting myself up for a loss if he is hurt?

doesn't look to good:

Charlie Garner, Active RB Updated 10/10/02
Garner didn't practice Wednesday because of a hamstring injury. He remains questionable for Week 6. "Basically he's just rehabbing right now," said Oakland head coach Bill Callahan. "He's too sore to go yet." If Garner is unavailable, the Raiders will most likely lean on Terry Kirby to replace him in the offense. Though Tyrone Wheatley is listed as Garner's backup, Kirby is more adept as a receiver and is a better fit with Oakland's offense. Wheatley, Kirby and Randy Jordan all split time with the first-team offense during Wednesday's practice.
