Alright, I want to see who you guys think has the brightest future out of Cedric Benson, DeAngelo Williams, and Laurence Maroney. Thanks to all the voters
Tough choice. I have Williams slightly over Maroney. I like Maroney's team situation a little better, but Carolina has Deshawn Foster, who I think will break in half before Corey Dillon does.

benson will likely have the best year, this year of those three. being a big 12 follower, i am much more familiar with benson than the other two. i know that benson was a workhorse in college and i like that about him. the bears are going to run the ball, period. so he is going to get lots of carries every year. i think the system in carolina is a bit better for producing nice fantasy backs. i'm not the least bit worried about foster. i figure he's done there soon. this is dillon's last year in a feature role. maroney is my least favorite of the 3 just because the pats can be, but aren't, as prolific as the other two offenses running the ball.
long story short benson = williams > maroney. those are my feelings.

Personally I like Benson for this year, maybe next, over the other two. I like Williams for the long haul though. Maroney will be good too, but I don't see him getting as many touches as Benson or Williams.
I said Benson. I think that Carolina and New England are much more likely to use some kind of committee approach than Chicago. Also, Benson is probably better than the other two.
I like all 3....woulda added Addai to this list but thats ok.
i thought when you said future, you meant like for dynasty and not this year...but anyway i like Benson and Williams this year the best, and Maroney the most in "the future" such as a dynasty league.
IMO Benson is the guy this year AND beyond. He reminds me of a younger Larry Johnson. Hold on, hold on, before you jump down my throat , let me explain. He came out of college never being anything but #1. He came into the NFL ready and willing to go. He had to sit and watch as someone else performed incredibly at his position. This is a guy who once he gets the job will NEVER give it up. I am a Benson whore and proud of it.

I agree. I can easily see him being at least a top five rb. When Benson was drafted weren't they saying that he was the best pure runner out of that class? He was taken ahead of Caddy and behind Ronnie only because of Ronnie's excellent blocking and receiving skills.
