Anyone See The Neil Rackers Commercial on NFL NETWORK??

Postby The Lung » Fri Jul 21, 2006 10:31 am

It's an ad for fantasy football on NFL.com, and Neil Rackers advises us to pick him this year. Then he states that he will hit the left upright twice in a row from 50 yards out, after which he'll hit the right upright twice from 50 yards out. Without the camera cutting away, he proceeds to bang the intended upright four times in a row!

Even if that took a dozen takes, it was still pretty amazing.

It's pretty much Rackers or Vinateri if you are going to be the first to take a kicker. I don't see Rackers getting as many oppurtunities this year as he did last year with Edge on board and you can always count on Vinateri to be accurate and you can count on the Colts to put points on the board.

I am going to take Vinateri first, but you could easily make a case for Rackers.

I usually end up drafting John Carney, but that's a blend of homerism and me not caring about kickers. I think Vanderjagt could outperform his draft position - but avoid him if your league gets a bonus for cluch kicking.

Pretty rich coming from a guy with Carney as his kicker. :-b

Rackers should be great again. I just see AZ's offense improving. He just might have alot more PATs than FG tries.

I really like Stover this year. Baltimore's offense will be better but still not perfect. Their D will give them a lot of short fields. He won't get as many 50 yarders as Rackers hammers home, but he should get a lot of chances and he is pretty money from inside 50.
