my hunches...

i think rhodes gets the job because of the experience he has in the system

ron dayne wins the denver job but still splits about 80-20 with bell. although he is not as fast, dayne is a quality RB. as a Giants fan i think he was completely misused in his time in NY. suprisingly for his size, he was never a goaling type, smashmouth runner. he runs too high for that. but when given the chance to run in the open feild, he has produced.

I really doubt it is 80-20. Bell has proven to be a fantastic 10-12 carry a week back. You can make an argument that his carries wont go up, but why would that go down when he has been very successful in that role? The question mark is on Dayne. He is the front-runner to get 60% of the carries, but with Cobbs in the wings and RB deals for Lelie in the works, I still think he is a risky draft at the moment.

my 2 cents - a sticky for a rb watch would be awesome

rookies - maybe somebody has a better memory then me, but as far as redraft, has a rookie EVER had a banner year right out of the box? last year the best was Caddy right, and we wasn't that consistent, and got pretty beat up

if you're looking to these battles, i'd err on the side of experience, and if you have a late round flier, throw it up there, what the heck

that being said, it'd be smart to handcuff any injury prone rbs - or if you have a jonez for any of the new talent

see where we are at the end of training camp, a LOT can and will change - heck, cbrown COULD get traded and lendale could step up - who knows

good luck,
richard

Wickerkat --- actually yes:

But I am still of the opinion that Addai won't be a factor until later in the season (if at all). Now... LenDale White is an entirely different story the way news has been flying out of Nashville these days!!!

awesome link juke - thanks for the info - i'm getting bigger on lendale every day - and i'm starting to feel like rhodes might have a good year too, but of course i'd handcuff that guy

peace,

Rhodes starts, Addai gets playing time. RBBC.

Also, what is the concensus on the running back quandary in Denver?

Dayne starts, Bell gets playing time. RBBC.

In Baltimore?

Jamal starts, Mike Anderson gets mop up. No RBBC.
in Green Bay?

Green starts if he is healthy. If not Gado and Davenport (who is also a health?) will battle to start. No RBBC.
