Very good book. I also had Ender's Shadow at one time, which focuses more on Bean, but I never got around to it.

I had to read The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver for summer reading.

Ill just say this book was awful and leave it at that

personally, i hate period piece movies, so i also hate most period books - the dialogue just kills it for me

anything by vonnegut is worth reading - slaughterhouse 5, breakfast of champions, cat's cradle, etc.
