That must be one heck of a project to map the sea's SURFACE.
Now, the ocean floor - that would be worth reading about.
i've read most koontz, really like the odd books, and most of his OLDER stuff, anything with a one word title: whispers, phantoms, etc.
i've read everything king has written, and really liked most of it - i have lots of extra paperbacks if you guys want something, here are my thoughts for him:
cell (his latest): just ok to me
lisey's story: out this nov supposed to be best in awhile
the gunslinger series: this was his 7 book opus, that ended a year ago, very good a kind of western meet sci-fi meets fantasy kind of series - not his typical horror - his lord of the rings or star wars
my all time favorites:
the stand: post apocolyptic good vs evil, awesome
it: evil resides below a town, some kids must fight it
some others i really liked:
talisman and black/house (two parter)
pet sematary
the dead zone (and the movie with christopher walken)
the shining (and the movie with nicholson)
peace,
richard
ps - just finished HSTs "Kingdom of Fear: Loathsome Secrets of a Star-Crossed Child in the Final Days of the American Century" a fantastic book for HST fans and am just now reading Michael Crichton's "Timeline" which is good
I just finished reading When The Game Stands Tall, a book about the De La Salle highschool football team and how they achieved the longest win streak in hs football history. Now im reading Huck Finn for school.

That you're a complete dork=Yes.

Awesome.
Its easy for dorks to detect other dorks, thats the only way I new.
You do pull off being "cool" really well though, the non-dorks have no clue.
