I am concerned about that too. I would not start him. I may start him over Hambrick tho. But, definitely start Moe

How late does it allow you to make roster decisions? If you can hold out right until Sunday morning, I'd do that to see if he practises, and what is being said. If you have to make the decision right now, I would start Moe, but if you can wait and Portis is going to play, I would start him.

Any Homers got any fresh news? The latest Shanahan line I find says Portis is questionable and Anderson probable. If you listen to the guys over at TSN, they're saying both are doubtful. I don't want to have to use 3 roster spots on the Denver RB situation again. :-#

look for portis to ride the pine, anderson to get the nod, and if denver breaks into a big lead, Griffin to finish the game.

Looks like Anderson is the guy to start & a great fantasy choice against the Lions.

Griffin is only for those desperate enough who don't even have somebody as good as Hambrick or Bryson during bye week season.
... in my opinion, of course - but that should always go without saying.

Man did you see him twist his knee though???? Looked pretty bad to me. I already had anderson in my lineup once I heard it wasn't an ACL/MCL tear but I hope he's ok. Any Denver RB on almost any day is a good play.

Good grief :-#

ROTOWORLD:
Clinton Portis - RB - Denver Broncos Sep 25

Clinton Portis didn't practice today, but he sounded more optimistic about his chances of playing Sunday.
''I think my chances are good for Sunday,'' Portis said Thursday. ''Hopefully, I'm playing because I don't want to miss a game for anything.'' Portis said what was originally a bruised sternum has now made the whole side of his chest sore. Still, it's likely that he will start against the Lions.

Are we back to this? In the course of one day I've heard everything from "Portis is out, Anderson's in" to "They're both out, Droughns and Griffen will carry the load" and now "Portis is back". Damn I hate Shanahan sometimes! I don't think I minded so much back when I wasn't playing fantasy football, but now for some reason he really ticks me off! :-C

I will be expecting Shanahan to come out soon and say that Portis really pulled a hammy or had a concussion or "bruised his ass" as some other coach might say.

I have Portis in a money league and it really burns me but he probably won't have much fantasy value this week, and some vulture already snapped up Anderson from under my nose. Hopefully though this is all for the best so he can get healthy and carry my team the rest of the year.

I have him on my team and this is what I have found out: He will most likely sit out just so he can be 100% the next week against the Chiefs. If he does sit out this week, he will definitely be 100% in week 5.

I have researched like 5 different sites, and this is what I came up with.
