Fox or AOL?

Postby shabadoo25 » Tue Jul 25, 2006 1:39 pm

OK, I'm trying to use a site that my work hasn't blocked. Yahoo, ESPN and CBS are all out.

I got some mixed responses on AOL. What about Fox?

I agree. In the KOTJ league here at the Cafe I tried numerous times to even hold a mock at Fox to see what they were like. Not once did it ever happen. I would use AOL. That is what I use for the KOTJ league and I never had a problem with it.

Correct AOL is what I have used as well and have not had any issues...I was looking for a couple other posts about these sites:

Agreed. Fox isn't exactly well versed in reliabilty. Go with AOL.

Fox was a nightmare last year and they seemed unable to figure out how to correct their problems and make the site run smoothly - they really shouldn't be in the fantasy sports business!

I'm running a couple leagues on AOL this year. While I've heard some negative feedback about AOL's FF Service, all I've heard is negative feedback about Fox's.

I would not touch AOL for anything. Seen too many people who used their internet software and had a nightmare switching to any other service. They are a virus IMHO. If you use them, you are giving them your IP address. Stay away.
CheeseWhiz is a great substitute for plazma.
