vernon davis and kellen winslow question

both of these guys have the talent and ability to become star TE's, possibly this year. my question is, do you think either of them will be great this year so that it's worth waiting towards the end of the draft to pick them. there's such a drop off b/t gates and the next 3-4 guys and then the rest of the TE's, that maybe i should use those picks to go w/ a solid 3rd reciever or backup RB then wait for one of these guys to fall to me.

are any of you doing the same, or are you spending picks on some1 like chris cooley and todd heap?
