Many thought it was a bit of a reach when they grabbed QB Tarvaris Jackson in the 2nd round but this kid is quite the physical specimen, a real workout fanatic - and, he has his head screwed on straight. The knock on him is that he is a little raw and and lacking experience against top competition having played 1-AA at Alabama State (and he's considered small by some at 6'2"). Childress is very high on him and likens him to Donovan McNabb in bulk and arm strength. With Johnson qualifying for Social Security soon, do we have a star in the making, perhaps as soon as next season? He definitely has the right work ethic.

Lol, I actually haven't heard that much about him since he was drafted - Vikings hardly ever make the news here and he wasn't even mentioned in the draft guide I bought.

I think that Brad is going to silence alot of critics , at least for one more year. He is very intelligent, and see's the field very well.

This year, growing pains, but if Childress is right in that Jackson can be his McNabb, with the pieces for the running game he's put together, the Vikings should be back into contention soon.
