In a standard points league, if you already own 2 solid backs, would you take a guy like Willie Parker/Warrick Dunn/Chester Taylor over a low 2nd tier wideout like Javon Walker or Driver?

this isnt a PPR league or keeper.
depends: what is the round, what is your whole team?
i would say that all of the running backs you listed are more valuable than any of the receivers listed.
Kudos to Leber for the amazing sig and to Metroid for the userbar and making them both fit 2008 and 2009 Defunct Dynasty League Champion
Thats what I was wondering, what round do you grab guys like Willie and Dunn if you already have your solid RB/RB/WR... do you grab one 4th, or do you grab one of the driver or walker WRs then and one of them the next round if they slide.
If there's a flex I'll def take the RB...if not I may debate the WR more, but still probably take the RB...Walker/Driver is like a low 4th/5th round all three of those RB's are late 2nd at the highest to early 4th at the latest picks
When in doubt, always grab a running back. Especially, either one of these as your third rb. You're protecting yourself from injury and taking a #2 rb away from your opponents. A WR will be available in rounds 4 and5.

id go with the running back; youll be able to get good wide receivers in the next few rounds, and the running backs you listed are absolute steals.

If you have already taken 2 RBs and there is a flex position that allows you to take another back then I'd probably look to take Taylor, WR, Tatum Bell in the next 3 picks rather than Parker or Dunn. Taylor and Bell have far more upside, while Parker and Dunn are "safer". For anything after your top 2 RBs you want upside guys, not safe guys.
If not then I'm probably going WR in the 4th (unless Gates is there for some reason).
