I got this guy in the 2nd round of my 12 teamer (got SA in the first). What should we expect from this guy? Is he healthy? Will he stay healthy? What might you project for him?

Another question I had was, who is his backup? Is it Smith or Morency? Is he a must-handcuff player?

Dom Davis is not healthy, and probably won't stay healthy, but he could. If he does, he will be very valuable. I believe the backup to Dom Davis is still in question as Mornecy and Smith battle for this right....

Domanick Davis required an MRI on his knee Sunday because it was so sore.

He just can't stay healthy. Although the MRI found nothing new, Davis took Sunday's practices off. He's barely practice all off-season and the coaching staff is starting to realize Davis is likely to miss playing time during the regular season. That only makes the Vernand Morency vs. Antowain Smith battle more important.

Locally , they are saying that he will miss some time. From what I have read over the last 2-3 days, I think significant time. I look for Bennett to possibly land here.

They started DD on one practice each day and in 3 days of practicing he is down to no practice. In the paper this morning it was mentioned how little cartledge he has left in his knee. That did not sound good.
You could think of government workers like teenagers. You pay them an allowance, but do you get any work out them? They eat the food, put their feet on the furniture and complain loudly whenever they are unhappy.

You can almost bet Antowain Smith sees plenty of action again this year. I'd stay far away from Domanick Davis this year. Honestly, I can't wait to hear the backlash from Texans fans when Davis gets hurt while Reggie runs wild in N'awlins.

Dom Davis hurt? I don't think I've ever heard that name associated w/perpetually hurt..... :-b

....Yes, he is always hurt. He is pretty much guaranteed to miss about a quarter of the season, every year....

Just to add even more insult to injury, the guy underwent another MRI the other day....sadly i was a DD follower and have him in most leagues, and when i heard the Texans didnt select Bush, i was happier than hell, but now comes the bitter...
